Wynn W. Flaming
Involved in music most of his life, Wynn spent all of that in Christian Music in one genre or another
He started writing and performing at his home church, Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, TX. During that time he wrote and performed original music as well as wrote several Christmas Cantatas for the choir. He played piano and performed with "The Gospel Notes", a southern gospel group and "Reflections", a Contemporary Christian Group.
In 1984, he moved to Amarillo, TX to play keyboards and sing backup for the Christian Rock Group, "Lazarus". Writing a couple of songs for them, he later had one of those songs "The Word Stands Forever", cowritten by Andy Denton, published and recorded by the Christian Rock Group, "Ruscha". He spent time at West Amarillo Christian Church as their Praise and Worship director, writing several original songs for them. After leaving the group"Lazarus", he went on to perform solo concerts all across Texas.
In 1994, Wynn moved to Nashville, TN to work in the Christian Music Industry. While working at New Day Distribution, Diadem Music and Benson Music Group, he worked with some of the top leaders in that industry and shared a rapport with several of their artist. He had the chance to sing in a special concert at Amy Grant's house in "The Loft" with several other artist including Michael W. Smith, Nichole C Mullen, Audio Adrenaline, Paul Overstreet and a list of others.
Wynn is a member of ASCAP as a songwriter and publisher and he's been a member of GMA, The Gospel Music Association as well.
He has also come out with his first book of Prose and Poetry. "Whispers of Life" is taken from his own Journey of Life.
